General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) data showed the growth rate of total GDP to reach 4,157 billion riyals in 2022, up 8.7 percent compared to 2021. This rise is due to the growth of oil activities by 15.4 percent, non-oil activities by 5.5 percent, and government activities by 4.6 percent.
The growth rate of government activities was 4.6 percent. <According to The General Authority for Statistics, Saudi Arabia's real GDP declined by 4.5 percent during the third quarter of 2023, compared to the third quarter of 2022, due to the decline in oil activities by 17.3 percent, although non-oil activities increased by 3.6 percent, in addition to the growth of government activities by 1.9 percent.
