Economic data revealed that Banks' net profits reached 52.6 billion riyals during the past nine months, a growth of 13.3% compared to the similar period in 2022, while profits before Zakat and tax amounted to 59.75 billion riyals.

The corporate sector accounted for 48% of the banks' profits of 28.4 billion riyals before zakat and tax, the highest percentage among the operating sectors, while it accounted for about 37% during the similar period last year, reflecting the improvement in the performance of the corporate sector.

The retail sector accounted for 32% of banks' profits during the nine months, amounting to SAR 19.4 billion, compared to 30% during the same period last year.
