The Saudi government provides many forms of support to citizens to obtain suitable housing units, and the developmental housing program is at the forefront of programs that provide citizens with suitable housing units throughout the Kingdom, especially those who are most in need of housing.
Developmental Housing Program
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing offers the Developmental Housing Program, with the aim of providing suitable housing for families in need of adequate and healthy housing through the implementation of several housing projects, as well as the development of the urban infrastructure for these real estate projects.
Categories benefiting from developmental housing
The developmental housing program targets several categories, including beneficiaries of social security and those in similar circumstances who are most in need. These segments of society are those included and registered in the housing support portal under the auspices of the Ministry of Human Resources. Housing units are provided through the Ministry’s housing units spread throughout the Kingdom’s cities, or through direct purchase, or through the construction of new housing units.
