Jeddah Municipality issued 7537 building violations during the third quarter of 2023

The monitoring efforts of Jeddah Municipality in following up building violations during the third quarter resulted in the detection of 7537 violations in a number of neighborhoods, as part of its tasks to improve services, address visual pollution and improve the urban landscape of the city.

The Municipality explained that the control efforts carried out by the sub-municipalities during the third quarter come within the framework of an intensive support plan to improve the urban landscape and monitor building violations in all its forms. According to Jeddah Municipality, the violations that were monitored varied between failure to remove construction or repair waste, failure to place a sign on construction sites showing license data, failure to fence or plant the perimeter of land in areas designated by the municipality according to municipal specifications and instructions, dumping construction waste on other lands or public places, and failure to clean the work site during and after completion of work.
