The Ministry of Finance issued government development bonds worth 20 billion Saudi riyals. These bonds were allocated to a number of public institutions and local commercial banks, with maturities ranging from five to seven to ten years, as follows: Five years with a yield of (1.92%), seven years with a yield of (2.34%), and ten years with a yield of (2.65%).
In June 2015, the Ministry of Finance issued government development bonds worth 15 billion Saudi riyals in a special offering for public institutions, The Ministry is also in the process of issuing bonds with various maturities and sizes in the coming period, to be determined according to financing requirements.
