Vision 2030 adopted an ambitious plan to transform the Kingdom into a major political and economic power, and adopted sports as one of its targets to achieve those goals, and the Kingdom has taken many strong steps, such as privatizing clubs, investing in clubs and developing sports facilities, which increased the contribution of the sports sector to GDP by 170%.
<The Kingdom took advantage of the transfer market and made investment deals, which led to the transfer of international players to the Saudi League, which gave the Kingdom a golden opportunity to strengthen the Saudi League with stars such as Ronaldo, Benzema, Neymar, Mahrez, Mane and many other big names from around the world. Soccer fans around the world have come to look forward to the Saudi league matches.
And the gains of this class don't stop there.
The gains of these deals do not stop at sporting gains, but it is expected that these deals will carry with them great real estate gains, by stimulating sports tourism and ensuring millions of visits every year, creating an attractive environment for professional expertise and high income, as well as encouraging international companies to move their headquarters to the Kingdom.
These deals are expected to encourage international companies to move their headquarters to the Kingdom. These ambitious targets will positively impact the real estate market inside the Kingdom, by increasing demand for residential, commercial, sports, entertainment and luxury real estate units.
This will put the real estate sector in front of great challenges and valuable opportunities that will bring a lot of profit if exploited appropriately.
Ministry of Municipality and Rural Development The Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs and the General Authority for Real Estate are striving to develop appropriate plans to seize these looming opportunities by developing real estate partnerships between the public and private sectors, working to develop urban planning in line with the new variables, and working to re-purpose real estate by paying attention to luxury real estate and developing areas adjacent to sports facilities and areas, and establishing sports complexes including conference centers, luxury hotels, serviced apartments, commercial spaces and sports clubs.
There are a lot of experiences in the real estate sector. For example, the city of San Diego in the United States suffered from a huge urban and population decline, and after analyzing the causes and proposing solutions, the recommendations concluded with the construction of a stadium for the city, and the real estate results were impressive, as this project transformed the city into an economically and architecturally prosperous area.
