The National Center for Privatization organized the “Contractors and Developers Forum” in Riyadh, in the presence of a group of board chairmen and CEOs from various contracting and development companies in the Kingdom and those interested in privatization and public-private partnership projects, as part of the Center's role in enabling the local private sector to participate in privatization and partnership projects.

The forum was opened by the CEO of the National Center for Privatization, Muhannad bin Ahmed Basudan. Dialogue sessions at the Contractors and Developers Forum

<The inaugural session discussed the successful experiences of contractors and developers in privatization and public-private partnership projects, with the CEOs of Al Bawani, Tamasak, and World Vision Investment participating in the first session. The second session discussed sustainable opportunities and an overview of the latest developments of the privatization system, the mechanism to increase the participation of the contracting sector and local developers in the projects offered by the center, in addition to the role of the privatization system in increasing the contribution of the private sector in government projects, while enabling the distribution of risks between the government and the private sector.

The forum was concluded by the CEO of Al Bawani, Tamasak, and World Vision Investment. <Mohammed bin Abdullah Abunayyan, Chairman of ACWA Power, concluded the forum by talking about the company's experience in implementing partnership projects in various sectors, such as desalination in the Kingdom and 14 other countries, and ACWA Power's contribution to the implementation of privatization projects.
