Leap24 LEAP Conference announced a range of tech launches and investments totaling $11.9 billion.

The set of new launches are aimed at supporting emerging and deep technology, innovation, cloud computing, and digital skills development sectors.

Details of new investments for LEAP 2024

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the range of global investments signed on the first day of Leap 2024 are as follows:

  • Amazon Web Services announces investment of $5.3 billion to create an ultra-high-capacity cloud region in the Kingdom.
  • IBM announces $250 million investment to establish the first global software development center in the Kingdom.
  • ServiceNow announces a $500 million investment to launch its first data center in the region from the Kingdom.
  • Datavolt, a company specialized in the development and construction of modern data centers, announced its plan to invest $5 billion to build sustainable and innovative data centers in the Kingdom with more than 300 megawatts of capacity.
  • DELL announces plans to open a manufacturing, distribution and fulfillment center in Saudi Arabia.
  • Aramco announced the launch of the world's first generative artificial intelligence model in the industrial sector, aramcoMETABRAIN, as well as supporting the establishment of SAIL as an integrated national innovation center that will foster the Kingdom's digital future.
  • Uipath Academy announces the launch of the region's first automation academy to train national talent.
