The technical secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction explained that it invited member states to submit their nominations for the membership of the jury of the award, based on the issuance of the 40th session of the Council held in the Libyan city of Tripoli at the end of last December, in addition to inviting the Union of Arab Engineers and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization to nominate representatives and experts for the membership of the jury.
She pointed out that the selection of the members of the jury was approved after receiving the nominations of member states, with the membership of (Algeria, Libya, Jordan) for the category of architects, (Saudi Arabia, Egypt) for the category of civil engineers, (the Union of Arab Engineers and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization) for the category of organizations and federations, in addition to the United Arab Emirates as an observer member of the body.
It is noteworthy that the jury was selected after receiving the nominations of member states. It is noteworthy that the arbitration body consists of (7) members for each session, where (5) engineers are proposed by the Scientific Advisory Committee from among the candidates of the member states, provided that (3) of them are architects and (1) at least a civil engineer, a representative of the Union of Arab Engineers and another for the League of Arab States to be agreed upon between its secretariat and that of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, provided that he is an expert in Arab Islamic heritage.
