The largest expansion project of the Al-Rad C Mall, at a grand ceremony attended by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Engineer Muhyiddin Hakami, as well as leading merchants, brand owners at the mall, businesspeople, prominent community figures, and media representatives.
Sheikh Saleh bin Mahfouz, CEO of Red Sea Markets, in his speech during the celebration, that 200 million riyals would be invested to carry out the expansion project for Al-Rad Sea Mall, emphasizing that this project is part of the center’s ongoing development efforts since its launch. Bin Mahfouz said: «The mall’s development initiatives aim to provide more enjoyable and safe shopping experiences, as well as enhance the aesthetics of the shopping environment, economic entertainment, and family gatherings for our valued visitors. This has made the center one of the leading malls, not only in the city of Jeddah but throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.» He noted that the name Al-Radsi Mall has become a strong presence in the Middle East and in international forums related to shopping centers and retail.
For his part, Mr. Mohammed Al-Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Markets Limited—the owner of Al-Raddasi Mall—explained that one of the main reasons for the expansion decision was the urgent need and high demand from merchants to lease more space in the mall, adding: «There are many requests on the long waiting list to rent space in the mall, especially since the mall receives about 16 million visitors annually.»
