Housing Program highlighted the achievements of the Kingdom’s housing sector over the past year, 2023. The program has brought about a major transformation in the housing sector by regulating the real estate market, expanding access to financing, simplifying regulations, offering diverse options to suit various needs, and increasing market supply—all of which paved the way for achieving one of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030: raising the homeownership rate among families to 70% by 2030.

The Housing Program was launched in 2018, and from the outset focused on increasing the supply of high-quality, affordable housing in a short period of time, positioning the Kingdom at the forefront of countries worldwide with a clear national housing strategy and a specific homeownership goal.

The program has achieved tangible successes and launched numerous initiatives and development projects that have helped meet the Kingdom’s housing market needs, and providing numerous employment and investment opportunities. The program has attracted developers and private-sector partners to collaborate in providing housing solutions that meet the needs of home seekers across all regions of the Kingdom.
