Minister of Commerce calls on the public and private sectors to adopt and nurture entrepreneurship in thought and behavior

Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry, called on the two sectors (public and private) to adopt and nurture entrepreneurship in thought and behavior, in line with the state's efforts to support startups and provide the appropriate investment environment for the country's young men and women to become entrepreneurs who provide job opportunities for them and others, as they are an important segment of the future of the national economy and social development.

<Al-Rabeeah pointed out that the forum aims to introduce the actual reality of women's investments in the Kingdom and the opportunities available to them to play their hoped-for role in development, indicating that the forum highlights the challenges and obstacles they face and how to overcome them, in addition to raising awareness of businesswomen of the decisions and regulations that will facilitate all necessary procedures and decisions for women to help them invest and <For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, praised the efforts exerted by the state in developing the local business environment, the positive decisions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the decision makers, especially after the wonderful step of establishing the Economic Council for Development, headed by His Highness the Deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to update the economy files and work to accelerate the issuance of decisions. Zamil pointed to the need for the investment work environment for further development and improvement, adding that investments have common denominators in benefiting from the support and incentives provided by the state and facing difficulties, so we are facing common challenges that require knowledge cooperation at the institutional level.

Zamil stressed the increase in the number of investments in the UAE. Zamil emphasized the high volume of women's deposits in banks, which is estimated at 60 billion, while the number of commercial records reaches 130 thousand commercial records.

<The forum will discuss women's investments in the Kingdom and ways to develop them, with the wide participation of businesswomen from inside and outside the Kingdom. It also aims to learn about successful local and international women's experiences in the field of investments and sensitize businesswomen to the importance of integration and merger between women's investment projects, in addition to proposing a package of mechanisms that can contribute to stimulating and encouraging Saudi women to enter the world of investment with competence.

The forum also seeks to exchange experiences and knowledge and technical cooperation between business owners with the aim of upgrading the women's investment sector, which can contribute more to economic development and increase job opportunities for women, especially with the high unemployment rate among women of about 32% in remote areas, while among young men it is 5%.

The forum also seeks to raise awareness among businesswomen about the importance of integration and integration among women's investment projects.
