The Taif Provincial Secretariat issuing building compliance certificates for a number of facilities, banks, and educational, healthcare, service, commercial, and residential buildings in the city. It has directed owners of residential and commercial buildings located on the roads specified on the interactive map in the “Baladi” app to promptly obtain a certificate confirming that their buildings are free of visual distortions, in order to provide a healthy and sustainable urban environment and enhance the city’s urban landscape.

The Municipality noted that the scope of application of the requirements Building Compliance Certificate applies to existing buildings, while certificates are automatically issued for new buildings, to actively contribute to the development of the Kingdom’s cities, based on the Secretariat’s commitment to raising the quality of life in the province, It called on owners of commercial and residential buildings, as well as usufruct rights holders, to address all elements of visual distortion in buildings in accordance with the procedures manual issued in this regard, and to promptly obtain a Building Compliance Certificate.

It noted that it has carried out an awareness campaign for residents over the past few months regarding the need to address visual distortions, and to rectify violations, adding that municipal regulations and instructions will be enforced and fines imposed on owners of non-compliant buildings who fail to comply with the instructions.
