The Board of Directors of the National Infrastructure Fund (NIF) is the first Board of Directors to be formed for the Fund.
<The appointed members have national and international experience in the fields of infrastructure, finance and investment. The board includes the CEO of Olayan Financial Company, H.E. Dr. Nabil Al Amoudi; the CEO of Shrek, Mr. Abdulaziz Al Arifi; the Governor of the National Development Fund, Dr. Stephen Grove; the CEO of the National Infrastructure Fund, Engineer Ismail Al Salloum; and Stephanie von Friedberg, Managing Director of Banking and Capital Markets Advisory at Citigroup, who was former Chief Operating Officer at the World Bank Group and Executive Vice President of the National Infrastructure Fund, who is the former Chief Operating Officer of the World Bank Group and Executive Vice President of Citigroup.
<The Board of Directors of the National Development Fund, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued a decision last February to select H.E. Mr. Faisal bin Fadel Al Ibrahim as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Infrastructure Fund.
Since the announcement of its establishment, the Fund has begun to activate its activities to contribute to accelerating the implementation of infrastructure projects in the Kingdom by financing major projects in the field of green hydrogen and solar energy. The Fund's contribution is a reflection of the Kingdom's role in the transition to clean energy and the Fund's pioneering role in raising the attractiveness of investment to the private sector and local and international investors in new and promising sectors.
<It is worth mentioning that National Infrastructure Fund is one of the development funds and banks organizationally linked to the National Development Fund, and is a partner in the Kingdom's leading development financing for infrastructure projects, and works to enable and accelerate strategic infrastructure projects in the Kingdom to contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing the quality of life of the individual and society, and encourages partnership with the private sector by stimulating local and international investors and attracting them to participate and invest in implementing quality infrastructure projects through a package of financing products and solutions
