According to the report issued by the Ministry's National Industrial and Mining Information Center, the total number of industrial licenses issued by the Ministry since the beginning of this year until the end of April reached 410 licenses, while the number of existing factories under construction in the Kingdom reached 11,868 factories by the end of the same month, with an investment volume of 1.375 trillion riyals.
The report showed that the volume of wood, wood and cork products, excluding furniture, and the manufacture of straw and nail materials amounted to 1.375 trillion riyals.
The report showed that the volume of investments in new licenses for the month of April amounted to 2,264 billion riyals, and small enterprises by the size of the establishment accounted for most of the new industrial licenses during the same month with 80.231 TP3T, followed by medium enterprises with 13.951 TP3T, while national factories recorded the largest percentage of the total licenses issued by type of investment with 1001 TP3T.

The report indicated that the new industrial licenses were distributed among 10 administrative regions, led by Riyadh region with 36 factories, followed by Makkah region with 22 factories, Eastern region with 17 factories, Medina region with 3 factories, Qassim region and Hail region with 2 factories each, Najran region, Asir region, Jouf region, and Tabuk region with 1 factory each.
The report indicated that the new industrial licenses were distributed among 10 administrative regions.
