National Day 94. A Celebration of Achievements

Abdulaziz Al-Issa

It's been National Day 94 and our country is witnessing accelerated leaps towards touching the ceiling of the great achievements achieved by the Kingdom, some of which have borne fruit, some of which are under development to be completed to delight the beholders and spread joy in the face of the contemplators, and some of which were an incentive for others to follow in the footsteps of the Kingdom benefiting from its precedence and leadership in many fields.

<Under the wise leadership, ideas were stimulated and their legs were firmly planted until ambition reached the rackets of the impossible to adapt it and draw from it a strong future that secures a prosperous life for generations, as well as sustainable development in all vital areas, which made the Kingdom jump to advanced ranks in a number of international indicators, ranking 25th in the United Nations E-Government Development Index 2024, to be among the leading countries in the world, and achieving fourth place globally and first regionally and second among G20 countries in the Digital Services Index, in addition to achieving seventh place in the E-Participation Index. <The progress in these indicators was not for the sake of beautifying the face or media spread; rather, it was related to the great achievements that facilitated the citizen's way of life and managing his business, which reflected on the services provided to him, for example, the annual housing report carried many statistics that we must stand at and highlight them in gratitude and appreciation for the efforts made, especially since these days we breathe the scent of joy on our national day; among those statistics was that the ownership rate in 2023 exceeded the target to reach 63.74 %, while the base was 63 %. This percentage came through many programs and facilities for the real estate sector, and the involvement of the private sector in the development and provision of housing, in parallel with the work of the competent and relevant authorities, where we read every day a good news that promises to move forward in solving the housing issue by providing aids, facilitating procedures and encouraging smart partnerships between developers, banks and landowners.

These achievements are worthy of the joy of our national day. <For these achievements, we have the right to be proud, celebrate and brag on this happy occasion.
