<The Public Authority for Real Estate has announced the start of the Real Estate Registration of 146,478 real estate parcels in 22 neighborhoods in Riyadh city, 25 neighborhoods in Al-Muzahimiyah Governorate, and 11 neighborhoods in Diriyah Governorate, starting from Jumada Al-Awwal 8, 1446 AH corresponding to November 10, 2024 AD, and continuing until the end of Sha'ban 14, 1446 AH corresponding to February 13, 2025 AD.

The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of the Registration of Real Estate works. <The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry in this phase include a number of neighborhoods in Riyadh, namely: (part of Arid, Wadi Laban, King Abdullah Energy City, Al Wissam, Al Sahab, Al Marjan, Al Bashayer, Al Iskan, Al Bariya, New Industrial City, Heet, Khashm Al Aan, Uhud, Akkaz, Dirab, Mansuriyah, Al Hayer, Al Amajiyah, Ghanamiya, Umm Al Shaal, Al Sahba, and Al Mussafah), while registration in Al Muzahimiyah Governorate includes the following neighborhoods: (Waseela, Nuwara, Granada, Tawiq, Shukhaib, Hadar, Yasmeen, Roses, Waha, Huda, Al Huda, Al Murooj, Al Muhammadiyah, Pearl, Al Ghattat, Alia, Sanayiya, Saqouriya, Shallal, Al Rif, Rashidiyah, Hazimiyah, Al Hazm, Al Jama'a, Al Andalus, and Mushrifa), while registration includes the following neighborhoods in Diriyah governorate: (Al-Shuhadaa, Arqbaa, Salam, Al-Wadi, Al-Adl, Al-Adl, Najd, Al-Ain, Al-Wasil, Prince Sultan, Al-Waha and Hijra Bawda), explaining that the selection of neighborhoods was made according to specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to real estate registration work in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced in the coming periods.

Registration will include the following neighborhoods. The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the first registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa/ or through service centers, noting that in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, where inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

The Authority stated that the registration process will start on January 1, 2018, through the electronic real estate registry platform 2 or through the service centers. Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a “property number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include property data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information, which contributes to enhancing the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector; as the real estate registration system aims to raise real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
