Today... Cityscape Global opens its second edition in Riyadh

Four days of events in Riyadh with more than 500 experts, 150 institutional investors and 1.5 million riyals in hackathon prizes

Today, Monday, the Cityscape Global 2024 exhibition kicks off, hosted by the Kingdom for the second consecutive year under the theme “The Future of Living.“ The event will run for four days at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in partnership with the General Authority for Real Estate, and the Housing Program—one of the Vision 2030 initiatives—and organized by "Tahaluf," a joint venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, the Events Investment Fund, and Informa Global.

The opening ceremony of the second edition of the world’s largest exhibition in the real estate sector, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majed Al-Hogail, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Investment, Mr. Khalid Al-Falih, and a number of Their Excellencies, Their Highnesses, and Their Honors.

The agenda for the first day of Cityscape International Exhibition, a ministerial session titled: “Leveraging Foreign Investment and Global Partnerships to Achieve the Saudi Vision,” featuring His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing and His Excellency the Minister of Investment, as well as a special interview with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Al-Muqrin, Governor of the Riyadh Region, titled “Riyadh 2030: Leading the Transformation Through the Vision.”

Mr. Nazmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM, will speak about the progress and achievements made in the city of the future, NEOM, while Mr. Mohammed Al-Bati, CEO of the National Housing Company, will discuss redefining the concept of home, quality of life, and living experiences in the future.

The challenge brings them together in a global competition featuring more than 100 participants representing 12 countries, across four tracks to present sustainable real estate technology (PropTech) solutions, smart buildings, and automation. The innovation challenge among startups begins, with more than 60 companies participating in three categories: Smart Living of the Future, Sustainability and Social Responsibility in Global Real Estate, and Transformative Construction.

For sports and global soccer fans, this year’s exhibition will feature, for the first time, a dedicated area for stadiums and major events, where attendees can meet global stars such as Didier Drogba, John Obi Mikel, Emile Heskey, and world boxing champion Anthony Joshua, as well as panel discussions to hear insights from sports clubs and federations.

For those seeking suitable housing and looking to buy, many real estate developers are offering special discounts of up to 150,000 riyals, and the National Housing Company is offering more than 100,000 diverse units available for purchase, with diverse housing options and designs that meet future needs. More opportunities can be explored by participating in the largest live real estate auction in collaboration with (Enfaaz).

The Real Estate Development Fund, in collaboration with 10 banks, is also offering exclusive financing solutions with the lowest profit margin (2.59%) to facilitate home ownership for citizens, along with free real estate consultations and reliable information for those seeking updates on real estate matters such as mortgages, interest rates on financing solutions, and more.

To enrich the experience for visitors and interested parties, Cityscape Global 2024 offers numerous unique experiences across six diverse platforms showcasing the latest technologies and innovative real estate solutions, such as: The Technology Stage, the DNA Architecture and Design Stage, as well as seven international pavilions, featuring more than 400 exhibitors from the most renowned real estate brands and leading global and local companies representing over 50 countries, The exhibition also provides a showcase for major projects under Saudi Vision 2030, as well as unique projects from the exhibition’s founding partners, such as: the National Housing Company, NEOM, Roshen, Al Murabba, KAFD, and Al Dir’iya.
