Infographic: Industry conducts 1,584 field visits to industrial facilities last month

The visits included all regions of the Kingdom to follow up on the application of quality and safety standards, with Sharqiya, Makkah and Riyadh topping the list

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Jarrah Al-Jarrah, explained that the field visits carried out during the past month included 451 visits to factories in the Eastern Province, 379 visits in the Makkah region, 358 visits in the Riyadh region, 85 visits in the Asir region, 81 visits in the Medina region, 80 visits in the Qassim region, 32 visits in the Jouf region, 31 visits in the Jizan region, 26 visits in the Hail region, 24 visits to factories in the Tabuk region, 22 visits to the factories of the Northern Borders region, 9 visits to the Najran region, and 6 visits to the Al-Baha region.

The Ministry of Industry continues its field visits 

Al-Jarrah emphasized that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is determined to continue its field visits to ensure that industrial facilities apply the necessary standards and requirements, follow up on the commitment of national factories to provide high-quality products, conform to approved standards and specifications, verify the safety of products, and correct the situation of factories located outside industrial cities.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requires any industrial facility to obtain a safety license issued by the Civil Defense, provide safety means according to the nature of the activity, ensure the availability of emergency exits and a fire extinguishing system, and store raw materials and products in a safe manner.
