This step, which has already started in Riyadh, comes within the framework of the ministry's restructuring in preparation for a new phase of work in activating its role in serving citizens and enabling them to live in housing.

The ministry attributes this trend to increase the efficiency of performance, organize the empowerment of citizens from the ministry's products, such as loans, land and loan, and benefit from the Fund's experience in announcing the names of citizens entitled to its loans from applicants to the Fund on the condition of land, in preparation for the activation of other products supporting the Fund, especially the accelerated loan product, which will announce the winning financing entities to manage soon.

Also, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has announced the launch of the accelerated loan product in Riyadh. A number of real estate developers specialized in housing construction considered that the only way to solve the housing issue is through effective and practical participation with the private sector and benefit from its experience in housing construction, especially in major Saudi cities, which constitute the most important housing markets in the Kingdom, which suffers from a major housing crisis due to population growth and an influx of foreign workers coming to the Kingdom.
