His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Northern Borders Region, handed over a number of housing units to developmental housing beneficiaries of the Raum Orphan Care Association and Wharf Charity Association at his office in Rafha Governorate on Monday. <During the handover, His Highness emphasized the importance of the effective partnership between the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and charitable societies, noting that these partnerships contribute to providing appropriate housing solutions that raise the quality of life for beneficiaries, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. His Highness also praised the efforts of charitable societies in supporting needy families, stressing the importance of promoting sustainable development work to build a cohesive and solidarity society. Developmental Housing in Rafhaa Governorate, where housing units were delivered in two phases in Rafhaa 1 and Rafhaa 2.
During the handover, details of the two projects were reviewed.
Rafhaa 1 project included the delivery of 16 housing units in the first phase in October 2024 at a total cost of SR 5,700,617.83, while 40 housing units were delivered in the second phase in December 2024 at a total cost of SR 14,251,544.60, bringing the total value of units delivered in the project to SR 19,952,162.48.
In Rafhaa 2 project, 16 housing units were delivered in two phases. In the Rafhaa 2 project, 16 housing units were delivered in the first phase in October 2024 at a total cost of SAR 6,494,755.64, and in the second phase 38 housing units were delivered in December 2024 at a total cost of SAR 15,425,044.70, bringing the total value of units delivered in this project to SAR 21,919,800.34.
