The prices of iron, electrical wires and cables in Saudi Arabia during November witnessed a significant increase, with a decrease in the prices of some types of wood. The Statistics Authority's bulletin on average prices of goods and services showed precise details of these changes.
Steel Prices in Saudi Arabia
Rebar (6mm): Up 0.2% to SR3997.71 per ton.
Rebar (8mm): Increased by 0.2% to 2765.04 riyals per ton.
Rebar (10mm): Also increased by 0.2% to reach 2806.39 riyals per ton.
Rebar (12mm): Increased by 0.9% to 2714.98 riyals per ton.
Rebar (14mm): Increased by 0.9% to reach 2714.81 riyals per ton.
Rebar (16mm): Its price reached 2715.86 riyals per ton, an increase of 0.8%.
Rebar (18mm): Increased by 0.8% to record 2713.98 riyals per ton.
Iron bonding cable (China): Up 0.7% to 51.78 riyals.
Rising prices of electrical wires and cables
The prices of electrical wires have increased in different categories:
2.5mm: Increased by 0.8%.
4mm: Increased by 0.6%.
6mm: Saw an increase of 0.4%.
