ROSHN Group breaks ground on Al Manar community in Makkah

It includes more than 33,000 units on an area of more than 21 million m² and includes schools, mosques, health and commercial facilities.

<Under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah, Roshen, a Public Investment Fund company, held a groundbreaking ceremony for Al Manar, the first residential community of Roshen in Makkah. <During the ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to tour the show villas and learn about the different models of residential units that the community provides, as it includes residential villas, in addition to other facilities and services such as schools, mosques, shopping malls, healthcare centers, open spaces and recreational areas.
The community is only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mosque, less than an hour from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and two minutes from Makkah West Gate, and is characterized by its design inspired by the region's heritage.

<Dr. Khalid Jawhar, Acting CEO of ROSHN Group, said: “Spread over an area of more than 21 million square meters, Al Manar offers more than 33,000 residential units, along with more than 150 facilities to meet the needs of its residents.”

The CEO of ROSHN Group, Dr. Khalid Gohar, said. For his part, the CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah and Holy Sites, Eng. Saleh Al-Rasheed, affirmed that “Al-Manar" project is the first of ROSHN's integrated communities in the city of Makkah, located at the western gate of Makkah within the Haram border, indicating that the project received an effective contribution from the Royal Commission for Makkah and Holy Sites, which seeks to facilitate and implement quality projects with a positive developmental impact in the long term.

The project has received the active contribution of the Royal Commission for Makkah and Holy Sites.
