Arab housing ministers' executive office meetings kick off tomorrow in Cairo under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

<On Wednesday, the Kingdom will chair the sessions of the 80th session of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction. This comes after it concluded yesterday the work of the 61st meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Council of Ministers of Housing at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Arab League under the chairmanship of Engineer Hussein al-Gabali, Advisor to the Egyptian Minister of Housing, with the participation of representatives of the ministers of housing and reconstruction in the Arab member states of the League.

<During the sessions, 16 items were discussed on various issues of joint Arab action in the field of housing and reconstruction, in particular the Arab Ministerial Forum for Housing and Urban Development, which is scheduled to be held in Egypt next December. Which will be attended by Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, and identify the themes that will be addressed and their arbitration committees, and the studies that will be presented to the forum.

The sessions discussed 16 items on various issues of joint Arab action in the field of housing and reconstruction. The sessions discussed the implementation of the resolutions of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in the field of housing with the aim of providing adequate housing for Arab citizens and exchanging experiences in this field in order to benefit from the projects implemented in Arab countries.

For his part, Eng. <For his part, Engineer Hussein Al-Jabali pointed out that the topic of urban planning and sustainable urban development was discussed in addition to urgent issues related to housing displaced persons and refugees in the region as a result of political conflicts.
