With 27 Saudi companies, the Saudi Exports Development Authority (Saudi Exports) participated in the world's largest international exhibition in the food products sector (Anuga) in Cologne, Germany, which was held between October 10 and 14. The companies were distributed on two pavilions (Saudi Dates Pavilion) and (Diversified Food Products Pavilion), which provided a distinctive set of services and products within their dedicated section.

The Saudi pavilions achieved great success in terms of the participating entities or the number of visitors who came to the Saudi pavilion. <Dr. Osama Shobokshi, Ambassador of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Germany, praised the quality of national products and their global competitiveness, which is the best proof of the status that Saudi companies have reached. On the other hand, the visit of Qatari Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi to the Saudi pavilion and his praise of the services provided by Saudi exports to national factories is another proof of the brilliance it has reached.

<It is worth mentioning that this exhibition is held once every two years and hosts more than 7000 exhibitors from 98 countries and receives more than 160,000 visitors from 187 countries, in 11 halls, on an area equivalent to 284,000 square meters, and the specialties of participating companies include meals and snacks, beverages of all kinds, organic foods, frozen foods and fresh products, meat and meat products, dairy and dairy products, bakery and pastries, seafood and frozen foods, services sector, accounting and retail technology.
