The Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center carried out, during the month of February 2025, more than 15,000 inspection rounds of project works in the city of Riyadh and the region’s provinces, resulting in the detection of more than 2,000 violations. Meanwhile, the Center received more than 17,000 reports of violations of infrastructure project regulations and requirements.
The violations ranged from a lack of cleanliness at work sites during and after completion, to the failure to install warning lights along the entire length of traffic detours, as well as the failure to display signs bearing the names of the project owner, the supervising consultant, and the contractor, and non-compliance with safety requirements at work sites.
Through these inspection tours, the Center seeks to ensure compliance with technical standards for infrastructure projects and to enhance their quality and safety, thereby contributing to the improvement of the urban landscape and environmental sustainability.
These inspections are part of the Center’s efforts Infrastructure Projects Center in the Riyadh region to enhance quality of life, contribute to more efficient spending, and improve the services provided to residents and visitors to the region.
