Accompanied by more than 100 Saudi business owners, the President of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Zamil, is leading a delegation to participate in the Gulf Economic Forum organized by the Federation of GCC Chambers in cooperation with the Qatar Chamber from 25-26 October in the Qatari capital Doha, under the theme “Enhancing the contribution of the Gulf private sector to economic development.”
The forum represents an important platform that brings together many opportunities for interaction and communication between the Gulf business sectors, as the forum seeks to advance Gulf economic development, work to achieve economic integration between the GCC countries, enhance the role of the private sector in the sustainable development process and empower the Gulf business sectors to increase its serious contribution to development projects, GDP and localization of the workforce.
Al-Zamil expressed his appreciation for the role of the private sector in the economic development of the GCC countries. <Al-Zamil expressed his hope that the forum will produce recommendations that will prepare the ground for the implementation of many Gulf economic decisions, especially since the recommendations of the forum will be submitted to the next Gulf Summit. On the other hand, the forum provides a great opportunity to support economic and investment relations between Saudi businessmen and their Gulf brothers, especially the Qataris, which are witnessing continuous development and great coordination on various economic issues of common interest.
Zamil expressed his hope that the forum will produce recommendations that will prepare for the implementation of many Gulf economic decisions, especially since the recommendations of the forum will be submitted to the next Gulf Summit.
