Today, Monday, the Sports Investment Forum (SIF) kicked off today, Monday, under the patronage of the Ministries of Sports and Investment. The three-day event is being held at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the capital, Riyadh, and brings together an elite group of local and international leaders, officials, investors, and entrepreneurs.

The Sports Investment Forum aims to open up new horizons for sports investment in the Kingdom by discussing ways to develop the sports sector, and promoting private-sector investment in it by building effective partnerships, attracting major investments, achieving sustainable development, and contributing to the creation of an efficient and prosperous economy for the Kingdom.

The event will feature the signing of landmark agreements and the launch of new initiatives that directly serve the sports sector in the Kingdom directly, as well as panel discussions featuring a number of officials from the local and international sports and investment sectors.

The forum will address several key themes, most notably: the link between investment and sports; sessions on sports projects and infrastructure; technology and artificial intelligence in sports; events; and women’s sports, with a diverse audience of representatives from local and international media.

More than 50 specialized workshops will be held, featuring approximately 120 speakers from around the world covering a wide range of important topics related to sports investment in various fields, including: sports projects, intellectual property, and artificial intelligence technologies, in addition to the presentation of a number of new innovations and prominent features on sports media and esports, among other topics.

A companion exhibition will be held on the sidelines of the event, with participation from the Ministries of Sports and Investment, as well as numerous informational booths for government agencies, sports federations and clubs, private-sector companies, and a number of booths dedicated to startups led by entrepreneurs.

The organization of this forum reflects the Kingdom’s status as a major international sports hub, hosting leading events and forums in various fields—including sports and investment—as well as its key role in promoting the sports industry, contributing to sustainable economic growth, and creating a positive impact on the business environment, in line with national visions and objectives.
