“Real Estate Authority conducts 7 joint monitoring tours to ensure compliance over the past month

The Public Authority for Real Estate and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development carried out 7 joint monitoring tours during the month of March, which included visiting 86 real estate establishments in the Riyadh region, the Eastern Province, and the Makkah region. These tours come with the aim of ensuring compliance with real estate legislation in general and the real estate brokerage system in particular, in addition to the competence of the participating government agencies with regard to localization.

The Authority explained that field work is one of the tracks it works on to regulate the real estate market, as its supervisory teams carried out 19,636 field monitoring operations during the same period, while the Authority received 589 real estate reports through its various channels, and they were dealt with and processed.

The number of electronic scans reached more than 3204 operations, as the Authority pursues electronic monitoring, which targets digital channels and real estate platforms; to verify the regularity of advertisements and digital real estate brokerage practices in accordance with the laws and regulations.

The General Authority for Real Estate called on all brokers and real estate service providers to comply with the rules of real estate regulations, and see the violations to avoid penalties, which include warnings, license suspension, revocation or fines.
