The Kingdom has made quantum leaps in the fields of <a style="color: #800000;" href="https://amlak.net.Digital economy, artificial intelligence, data centers, digital government, and human capacity development, within the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which laid the foundations for the transformation to a knowledge economy driven by innovation, investing in people and technology, confirming its advanced position as a regional and global digital powerhouse.
As the world celebrates <a style="color: #800000;" href="https://www.un.On World Telecommunication Day, the Kingdom stands out as the largest digital economy in the Middle East and North Africa region, with a value exceeding SR 495 billion, representing 15% of GDP, reflecting a radical shift in the structure of the national economy and the Kingdom's success in diversifying sources of income by accelerating the pace of the smart economy.

The ICT market recorded record growth, exceeding SAR 180 billion in 2024, driven by expanding private sector investments and increased innovation, cementing the Kingdom's position as the largest technology market in the Middle East.
In its efforts to move into the smart age, the Kingdom has invested more than (55) billion riyals in artificial intelligence and data center technologies, announced at the LEAP 25 conference, turning it into a regional hub for the industries of the future.
In terms of data centers, the Kingdom recorded a growth of (42%) in capacity by 2024, reaching (290.5) megawatts; enhancing the readiness of the digital infrastructure to accommodate the expansion of cloud services and smart applications.
The fiber optic network has expanded to cover more than 3.9 million homes and the Internet penetration rate has reached 99%, placing the Kingdom among the most connected countries in the world and enhancing its ability to provide highly efficient digital services.
In empowering digital human capabilities, the Kingdom has strengthened its regional leadership as the largest pool of digital talent with more than (381) thousand quality jobs in the technical sector, and the empowerment of women was one of the most prominent features of this transformation, as their participation rate in the sector increased from (7%) in 2018 to (35%) today, the highest in the region, surpassing the averages of the G20 countries and the European Union.
In the field of digital government, the Kingdom achieved exceptional progress in the United Nations indicators, coming sixth globally in the e-government development index, and came close to achieving the Vision 2030 goal by reaching fifth place, and ranked fourth globally in the digital services index, second among the G20 countries, and first regionally.
In the sub-indices, it achieved first place globally in digital skills and open digital government, and seventh globally in the e-participation index.
These achievements reflect the unlimited support that the digital sector receives from the wise leadership, which has made the digital economy a national priority to strengthen the Kingdom's global position and build a knowledge economy that serves future generations.
The Kingdom continues to firmly establish itself as a leading digital power in the smart age, contributing to the formation of a more sustainable and inclusive digital future, both regionally and globally.
