Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the comparative and competitive advantages enjoyed by the Hail region and the qualitative investment opportunities available in a number of vital sectors, and also spoke about the role of the Ministry of Investment to capitalize on these advantages and sectors to enhance the attraction of investments to the region.
The Hail Investment Forum was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad Abdulaziz, Emir of Hail Region. The Hail Investment Forum witnessed the holding of various sessions in which the Ministry participated, in cooperation with a number of stakeholders, to discuss ways to develop the investment environment in the region and stimulate partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The Hail Investment Forum reviewed the various investment opportunities available in a number of vital sectors. The forum showcased more than 100 investment opportunities worth nearly SAR 50 billion displayed on the Invest in Saudi Arabia website in strategic sectors including agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, sports and others, reflecting the economic potential of the region.
During the forum, a number of signatures were signed by the Ministry, in cooperation with relevant authorities, to discuss ways to develop the investment environment in the region and stimulate public-private partnerships. <During the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Investment and the Hail Region Development Authority to enable quality opportunities and support sustainable economic development, which contributes to enhancing the region's position as a leading investment destination locally and internationally. This participation comes within the framework of the Ministry of Investment's efforts to enhance the investment environment in various regions of the Kingdom and to review the qualitative opportunities available, in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
