“Innovative Factory Grants” initiative launched to boost the competitiveness of Saudi industry

H.E. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salma, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry Affairs, launched the “Innovation Factory Grants” initiative to enable research and innovation in the industrial sector, and support the development of new and innovative industrial products, thus enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi industry globally.

The ceremony witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Research, Innovation and Development Authority to activate the “Innovation Factory Grants” initiative to enable research and innovation in the industrial sector.

The initiative focuses on enabling research and innovation in the industrial sector. <The initiative focuses on empowering several categories, including national factories, inventors and entrepreneurs, joint research projects between national factories and RDI centers, and research projects in RDI centers with industrial applications, and provides financial grants of up to 2 million riyals to support research, development and innovation projects in the industrial sector.
