The General Roads Authority (GRA) has provided Mobile Sites service for pilgrims on the Hijrah road, with the aim of providing dedicated sites for pilgrims in case their buses break down - God forbid - to ensure the highest levels of comfort and safety for them during their journey.

This initiative was implemented on the Makkah-Medina highway (Hijrah), and operates 24 hours throughout the Hajj season, with each unit accommodating about (40) pilgrims, equipped with air conditioning, rest areas, restrooms, cold drinks and hospitality meals.

This initiative comes in line with the launch of the Makkah-Medina highway (Hijrah). This initiative comes out of the General Roads Authority's keenness to provide maximum comfort and safety for the pilgrims and ensure the quality of their experience while traveling between Makkah, Madinah and the Holy Sites.
