<His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, inaugurated the Lazord residential destination in Al Khobar, in the presence of HE Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, Eastern Province Governor Engineer Fahad bin Mohammed Al Jubeir and National Housing Company (NHC) CEO Mohammed bin Saleh Al Bati, in the presence of HE Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel. The project is the latest addition to NHC in the region, embodying the Kingdom's vision to provide quality housing that enhances the quality of life for citizens.

Accelerated growth of the housing sector

<The Prince of Eastern Province praised the accelerated movement witnessed by the housing sector in the Kingdom, stressing that it is a result of the ambitious vision led by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the follow-up of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them - to provide adequate housing for all segments of society and achieve sustainable urban development. His Highness pointed out that the achievements in this sector reflect the unlimited support of the leadership and its keenness to improve the quality of life in all regions of the Kingdom.

8,100 housing units and green spaces

<Mohammed bin Saleh Al Batti, CEO of NHC, revealed that Lazord is spread over an area of more than 3.9 million square meters and includes more than 8,100 residential units ranging from villas to apartments, being developed in partnership with elite private sector developers within an integrated urban plan. The project includes more than 778,000 square meters of green spaces, as well as integrated educational, health and recreational facilities, reflecting the company's commitment to building sustainable residential environments that enhance the quality of life.

Strategic partnerships

<Prince Saud bin Naif witnessed the signing of a series of agreements with NHC's private sector partners to develop projects within the destination, starting with Retal Urban Development Company, Dar and Emaar Real Estate Investment and Development Company, Thabat Al Maskan Real Estate Company, and Al Omar Investment Company. The agreements also include Tamkeen Real Estate Investment and Development Company, Rawas Real Estate Development Company, Naja Engineering Consultants, and Al Yamama Infrastructure Company, in a move to diversify expertise and increase local content within the project.

<Lazord is strategically located adjacent to the Arabian Gulf shoreline and on axes that provide easy access to Al Khobar's most prominent landmarks.
