“Statistics”: Inflation rate in the Kingdom stabilized 2.3 % during last June

The inflation rate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remained relatively stable at 2.3 % in June 2025 compared to the same month last year, and the Consumer Price Index in June 2025 stood at 0.2% compared to May 2025, on a month-over-month basis, according to data from General Authority for Statistics.

In the same context, the wholesale price index remained relatively stable at 2.1% in June 2025 compared to the same month last year, while the wholesale price index fell by 0.1% in June 2025 compared to May 2025.

It should be noted that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reflects changes in the prices consumers pay for a fixed basket of goods and services consisting of 490 items, This basket was selected based on the results of the Household Expenditure and Income Survey conducted in 2018, and the relevant prices are collected through field visits to points of sale. Consumer Price Index statistics for the Kingdom are published on a monthly basis.
