Riyadh Municipality has announced the humanization of central areas in 4 neighborhoods with a length of 14.2 km with a total area of 376 thousand m2. The project includes the neighborhoods of Al Rawda, 4.4 km long with an area of 121 thousand m2, Al Rawabi, 2.8 km long with an area of 52 thousand m2, Al Suwaidi West, 3.5 km long with an area of 127 thousand m2, and Al Mughrazat, 3.5 km long with an area of 76 thousand m2).
The project includes the implementation of paths of 14.2 km with a total area of 376 thousand m2. <The project includes the implementation of 14 km of pedestrian paths and more than 9 km of bicycle paths, in addition to planting 480,000 trees and shrubs, in addition to providing multiple urban squares and creating 4,000 parking lots. The project represents a qualitative step within a package of development initiatives that focus on transforming urban spaces into vibrant environments, enhancing the presence of recreational, social and economic activities within neighborhoods, and raising the level of urban sustainability by improving the efficient use of urban spaces and linking them to vital destinations and basic services.
It reflects the Municipality's orientation towards improving the urban environment by preparing public facilities, increasing their functional and visual attractiveness, and providing integrated environments that support modern lifestyles for residents and visitors.
The project aims to enhance the balance between urban development and community needs, in line with the objectives of sustainability and innovation in urban planning.
