The Global Infrastructure Forum and Exhibition 2025 concluded in Riyadh, under the honor and patronage of His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Ayyaf, Chairman of the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center, Secretary of Riyadh Region, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies, officials and specialists from more than 25 countries, with more than 300 exhibitors around the world, with over 26 thousand visitors over three days.
The first day of the Global Infrastructure Forum saw the launch of the Major Projects and Events Support Office to enhance coordination between agencies and achieve sustainable urban development, honored the winners of the Infrastructure 2025 Award in its three tracks, held more than 5 dialogue sessions with the participation of infrastructure sector leaders and decision makers, and signed 8 memorandums of understanding with a number of entities in the public and private sectors.
The second day witnessed the signing of 4 cooperation agreements to enhance strategic partnerships between major local and international organizations in the infrastructure sector, in addition to holding 8 panel discussions with the participation of local and international experts in this pivotal sector.
The third and final day of the forum was marked by the launch of the Innovation Platform, which is concerned with receiving and developing ideas and digital solutions that contribute to reshaping the future of infrastructure projects, raising the quality of life, enhancing efficiency, spending and improving the urban landscape.
During the third day, more than 22 dialogue sessions were held, in which a number of employees of the Infrastructure Projects Center in the Riyadh region participated, on digital infrastructure, smart cities and reviewing the most prominent global practices for the development of service corridors.
The forum comes within the framework of the efforts of the Infrastructure Projects Center in Riyadh as the competent authority for infrastructure projects in the region, and aims to enhance the efficiency of planning and implementation, improve the urban landscape, and adopt innovation in projects, thus establishing Riyadh as a leading global city in the field of sustainable urban development.
