The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is celebrating its 95th National Day, marking a new phase in its development that embodies an ambitious vision aimed at building a sustainable economy and a prosperous society. This occasion, celebrated on September 23 each year, a milestone in the Kingdom’s history, as it celebrates unprecedented achievements in the fields of innovation and digital transformation.

Over time, the Kingdom has proven its ability to adapt to global challenges and achieve tremendous leaps in infrastructure and technology, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, traditional cities are being transformed into smart cities that rely on the latest artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technologies, and mega-projects are being launched to keep pace with this transformation.

Mega Projects Continue to Drive the Economy

These mega-projects, such as «Neom, Al-Qiddiya, and the Red Sea,» are considered new engines for the future economy and aim to create a sustainable environment that enhances the quality of life for citizens.

In 2025, Al-Ula will join the IMD World Smart Cities Index, becoming one of six Saudi cities included in this prestigious ranking, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to developing smart cities equipped with modern technologies that improve quality of life.

The Kingdom is moving forward with mega-projects such as NEOM, which aims to be a model for future cities powered by renewable energy, as well as the Qiddiya project, which will make Saudi Arabia a global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture.
