Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Secretary of the Riyadh Region, launched the “Riyadh Municipal Transformation” program, which aims to keep pace with the rapid growth and continuous development in the capital, reflect its global standing, strengthen the Secretariat’s engagement with the city’s residents, and address future challenges.
The “Riyadh Municipal Transformation” Program
The “Riyadh Municipal Transformation” program focuses on improving the city’s operational efficiency and enhancing the level of services provided, in a manner tailored to the needs of each neighborhood and geographic area in Riyadh.
The program aims to reorganize Riyadh’s 16 sub-municipalities into five main sectors to provide direct and indirect services within specific geographic areas.
Launch of “My City Offices”
“My City Offices” will also be launched to strengthen direct communication with residents and improve the customer experience by providing exceptional services and organizing community engagement activities.
The “Riyadh Municipal Transformation” program encompasses multiple tracks, including design and implementation, as well as the development of organizational, technical, and human resources, to ensure sustainable and effective results.

The program aligns with the decentralization strategy by adopting a three-tier organizational structure: strategic, operational, and representative.
This program represents a fundamental transformation in the Secretariat’s work to improve the quality of life in Riyadh and achieve a rapid and effective response to residents’ needs, while promoting community participation to build a vibrant and interactive urban society.
