Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid Al-Hogail conducted an official visit to the State of China as part of his Asian tour, and the visit lasted two days, which witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between Saudi Arabia and China, it is planned to implement 100 thousand housing units until 2030 within the framework of cooperation between China and the Kingdom.

The Minister of Municipalities and Housing made a number of important statements on the sidelines of his visit to the Chinese capital Beijing, stressing that the ministry's goal is to find a balance in the housing sector to implement plans without delay, especially since the housing program requires pumping housing units every year in an accelerated manner.

As part of the Kingdom's orientation to increase urban growth and create many housing units, Al-Hogail pointed out that they are keen to ensure that the great growth in Saudi Arabia and the national housing program does not face challenges including the lack of contractors or any challenges that delay the work, so they attracted the best contractors in China who have the ability to make a qualitative leap in the world.

On the sidelines of his visit to the Chinese capital Beijing. Regarding Saudi-Chinese cooperation in the housing sector, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing explained that the target is to complete the implementation of 100,000 housing units, where 8,000 housing units have been implemented, the implementation of which was signed during a previous visit to China, and 24,000 housing units were agreed upon during this visit.

Majid Al-Haqeel pointed out that the launch of many projects in Riyadh under the housing programs and new initiatives requires a partnership between local developers and international companies to implement these projects.
