. <The competition was launched to encourage the capabilities of national architectural designers, where 44 designs were submitted by engineers, and the design of engineer Faris bin Abdulrahman Al-Faris won the first place, and his design was chosen to implement a building for the Authority, The Saudi Council of Engineers announced last Tuesday the names of the winners of the architectural competition to design the “Engineers Tower” building, during a ceremony held the day before yesterday at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, which included a presentation of the submitted designs. The Authority has allocated 100 thousand riyals for the first winner, 75 thousand riyals for the third winner, and 50 thousand riyals for the third, and the tower building consists of the headquarters of the Authority and the General Secretariat, and an endowment and investment part.He pointed out that the main objective of the design of the Engineers Building is to create a sustainable and contemporary building that can be expanded, and at the same time reflect the strength of the Saudi engineering sector through elements derived and developed from authentic traditional Saudi architecture without cost and extravagance in implementation and operation.
