The new King Abdulaziz International Airport project in Jeddah has achieved another triumph for Saudi architecture after being named the winner of the award for the best engineering project among airports worldwide, This recognition came during the 8th Global Infrastructure Forum 2015, which was recently held in New York City, United States of America .

The forum brought together more than 400 executives from project owners, financiers, engineering design firms, construction companies, and operators, and featured presentations on more than 35 pioneering projects, including a number of major airports from around the world.
