The exhibition was held during the period from 18 to 20 November 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
<55 workshops organized
On the sidelines of the three exhibitions, 55 free workshops were held, through which participants were awarded CPD certificates allowing them to obtain professional recognition, in addition to 48 specialized seminars.
On the other hand, a two-day conference on sustainable design and construction featured cases on eight projects from the Middle East region presented directly from the architects, developers and contractors themselves who worked on these projects.
Notable Saudi participation
Saudi industries actively participated in the exhibition, with an estimated area of 1,600 square meters at the International Building and Construction Exhibition «The Big Five», which concluded last weekend in Dubai.
The Director General of Marketing and Public Relations at the Saudi Export Development Authority, Firas Abu Al-Khail, revealed that the private sector enterprises participating in the Saudi pavilion inside the exhibition displayed more than 560 products serving the building, construction and infrastructure sectors.

Seminars and working sessions
The three exhibitions witnessed seminars and working sessions, most notably a seminar on the culture of the region, which addressed what anyone considering moving to the UAE should follow and do. The seminar also took a look at the workings of free zones and offered an introduction to product licensing and registration.

There are 20 free zones in the UAE, more than half of the free zones in the GCC, and Jafza alone is home to 7,300 companies.

Amlak Real Estate Newspaper continued its participation in events and exhibitions locally and internationally, where its participation in the Big Five Exhibition was more lively and effective, and the newspaper was keen to meet a number of businessmen, investors and participants in the work of the exhibition, and the newspaper met with its customers and offered them its experience in covering and sponsoring real estate activities and sponsoring and documenting regional and international exhibitions, forums and forums, and the newspaper conducted a number of dialogues and meetings with businessmen and investors participating in the activities of the exhibition.

Great turnout
BMV Live and Middle East Concrete Show, held alongside the ”Big Five”, are the most important regional events specializing in heavy construction machinery, factory equipment, construction vehicles, commercial vehicles and concrete production machinery.
