<The Saudi Credit and Savings Bank announced the launch of a cooperation project initiative with the Emirate of Riyadh to contribute to activating the role of small enterprises in the Riyadh region and discuss ways to overcome obstacles and facilitate procedures for those wishing to own their own projects to play their positive role in stimulating the economy and creating private sector jobs.
This came during the recent visit of a delegation from the Bank to His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, led by the Bank's Director General, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Hanishal, to discuss ways of cooperation between the Bank and the Emirate of Riyadh to support and finance small projects in the Riyadh region.
The delegation reviewed with His Highness a number of topics related to the Bank's programs and services, starting with an introduction to the Bank and its developmental role it plays on the economic and social levels, and a discussion of the most important changes that occurred in the social loans regulation recently, in addition to talking about the Bank's support for the small and emerging enterprises sector and the efforts made in this aspect.
His Highness praised the efforts made and exerted by the Bank to serve the community in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince (may Allah protect them), welcomed this initiative, encouraged its implementation and ordered the formation of a committee from the Emirate and the Bank to discuss the practical steps and requirements that would make the joint cooperation between the Bank and the Emirate successful.
For his part, the Director General of the Bank expressed his thanks to His Highness the Emir of Riyadh, appreciating his keenness and interest in strengthening joint cooperation, stressing at the same time the Bank's keenness to actively contribute to the development and prosperity of the national economy, wishing him and His Highness the Deputy Emir success.
