The 2013 Young Businessmen and Women Exhibition, organized by the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, will take place from November 5–7 at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center, where financial institutions and funding agencies will participate in the forum.
Abdulrahman Al-Wabel, Secretary General of the Chamber, said that numerous financing entities interested in this sector have been invited to participate in the forum to support the sector and its members in implementing their visions and plans, which aim to drive the local economy.
Al-Wabel explained that the forum aims to support young entrepreneurs in the region, whether by organizing various related activities—such as specialized training courses—or by facilitating access to funding from financial institutions, which can provide financing for the ideas and projects showcased at the exhibition as well as exploring the most important incentives and offers these entities provide to young entrepreneurs.
Al-Wabel said that the exhibition aims to promote the products and services of young entrepreneurs to consumers and investors, as well as to educate them through the various activities that will be presented at the forum, and to encourage young people to put forward their ideas and take the initiative in pursuing them, as well as showcasing some successful youth-led ventures to learn from them and gain insight into the support provided by funding agencies to youth projects.
Al-Wabel emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to ensuring that the forum’s message reaches young men and women who will form the core of the Kingdom’s business leaders in the coming period, enabling them to market their products to major companies that will recognize their potential and ideas through the forum and provide them withto work with them, benefit from the expertise shared at the forum, present their market experiences, and describe the stages they went through and the challenges they faced—which they overcame in various ways, positively impacting their businesses and strengthening their resilience.
It is worth noting that the 2013 Young Entrepreneurs Forum and Exhibition is seeing growing interest from young entrepreneurs eager to showcase their products and services; the Young Entrepreneurs Council continues to receive numerous participation requests from a variety of Saudi that will showcase their products during the exhibition accompanying the forum.
