His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, today opened the eighth edition of the Global Health Forum 2025, which is being hosted in Riyadh at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, under the theme “Invest in Health” and sponsored by the Ministry of Health.

His Excellency <The Minister of Health extended his thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership for its unlimited support for the health sector to achieve the objectives of the health sector transformation program stemming from the Kingdom's Vision 2030, explaining that the world is facing escalating health challenges from chronic diseases and the inflation of care costs to the shortage of cadres, pointing out that <a href="https://amlak.Health transformation in the Kingdom has enabled qualitative leaps, including reducing deaths due to chronic diseases by 40%, reducing traffic accident deaths by more than 60%, and increasing life expectancy to 79 years, thanks to the integration of government efforts, and reviewed the most prominent initiatives that turned into real achievements such as: Localization of insulin production, digital twins, early screening programs, clinical trials, the second generation of VerifyIT centers, and the Saudi healthcare model.

During his speech, His Excellency announced the launch of new initiatives, including the AI Physician to accurately diagnose diseases, the localization of vaccine manufacturing in partnership with international companies, as well as the launch of the "Smart Health Coach“ in cooperation with Google through the ”My Health“ application to be the personal health guide for each beneficiary, revealing that the forum will witness the signing of agreements and investments worth more than SAR 124 billion to support innovation and build a more sustainable future for the health sector and quality of life in the Kingdom.
