Jeddah Airports showcases its development projects
Jeddah Airports is participating as a strategic sponsor within the MATARAT Holding Company. The pavilion aims to highlight the developments at King Abdulaziz International Airport that have contributed to improving the experience of the pilgrims.These initiatives include the expansion of King Abdulaziz International Airport. These initiatives include expanding airport facilities, facilitating travel and arrival procedures, enhancing digital and smart services, and developing the airport environment to provide a smoother and more comfortable experience for travelers.

<The pavilion also showcases the airport's efforts in raising the quality of services and speeding up operational procedures during peak seasons. More than 175,000 pilgrims benefited from the “Makkah Road” initiative, while 206,000 pilgrims benefited from the “Bagless Traveler” initiative. In addition, more than 483,000 bottles of Zamzam water were shipped on returning flights. Jeddah Airports also highlights technical improvements at the airport, such as the implementation of 70 electronic passport gates and 46 smart gates for reading boarding cards, in addition to self-baggage chargers and digital tracking systems.Jeddah Airports also highlights technical improvements at the airport. <The airport's facilities include 153 restaurants and cafes from renowned local and international brands. These improvements have contributed to an increase in passenger traffic, with the airport recording 25.5 million passengers in the first half of this year, an increase of 6.8% compared to last year.

He explained that these efforts are in line with the national aviation strategy and the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the Kingdom's position as a global center for air transportation and provide the best service for pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims.
