The Riyadh Chamber, represented by the Business Youth Committee, honored the winners of the emerging projects competition “Mubader” in its third edition, where the first place and a financial prize of fifty thousand riyals won the contestant Manal Al Barakati with a project to establish a nursery for children with special needs, and the second place and a financial prize of thirty-five thousand riyals won the contestant Mohammed Al Hassan with an electronic logistics platform to serve electronic stores, while the third place and a financial prize of twenty-five thousand riyals won the contestant Abdullah Al Shammari with a smart school bag, while the jury adopted a special prize for the contestant Al Hassan.
Ali Al-Othaim, board member of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Business Youth Committee, emphasized the role and importance of entrepreneurship in the desired transformation towards the knowledge economy, which has become a strategic goal that all sectors of society participate in achieving, and Al-Othaim appreciated the Cabinet decision to establish the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, which is in line with the Kingdom's directions to achieve economic diversification, reduce dependence on oil and primary resources, and establish a sustainable production base for the post-oil phase.
For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber, addressed in his speech the vital role of the business sector in economic growth and diversification of the Kingdom's sources of income, and pointed out his pride in his sons and daughters of young entrepreneurs, and his appreciation for the efforts and activities of the Chamber's Business Youth Committee, indicating that the Chamber harnesses all its capabilities to serve the business sector and communicate their views and aspirations to decision makers.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the members of the jury of the competition in its second edition: Adnan Al-Khalaf, Abdullah Al-Khorayef, Firas Al-Qasim, Omar Al-Juraisi, Yasser Al-Habib, Fares Al-Sharif, Thamer Al-Manjem, Qafari Al-Qafari, Saad Al-Ajlan and the committee honored the board of directors' member Fahad Al-Tunyan for his continuous support to business youth in the Kingdom.
