A section specialized in basic courses, the success of which is one of the conditions for obtaining temporary membership in the real estate valuation branch, namely the 101, 102 and 103 courses, which were held in 9 different cities: Riyadh, Makkah, Medina, Jeddah, Taif, Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Abha and Tabuk, and were attended by more than 860 trainees during 2015; the success rate in their exams exceeded 70%, and the optional educational courses -such as the expropriation course held in Jeddah recently, which serves to generalize experiences and enhance concepts; the hours of attendance are counted as experience hours for participants who are provisional members or applicants for membership."
In a related context, real estate specialists and followers expected that the Authority's decision will positively affect the sector and its activities and programs, pointing out that the most important benefits of the decision lie in eliminating the randomness of real estate valuation and preserving the rights of citizens and financing entities.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Commission for Accredited Valuers considered the previous calendar year (2015) as the deadline for practicing the real estate valuation profession without obtaining temporary membership, and stated that this matter is in line with the ministerial decision issued on 3/6/1435 AH, which stipulates that everyone who practices the real estate valuation profession must obtain membership in the Board of Valuers before 20/3/1437 AH.
