Data from the General Authority for Statistics revealed that the revenues of the non-profit sector for the year 2024 increased to (73.1) billion riyals with a growth rate of (22%) compared to 2023, while expenses increased to (60.8) billion riyals with a growth rate of (17%), and the compensation of employees reached (28.9) billion riyals with an increase of (13%) from 2023.

Data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) revealed that non-profit activities contributed (29%) of the total revenues, followed by health (24%) and culture and entertainment (19%). <The results indicated that education and research activities contributed (29%) of the total revenues, followed by health (24%) and culture and entertainment (19%), which are the most contributing activities to the sector's revenues. The data also showed that culture and entertainment activities accounted for (42%) of the number of employees, followed by social services (20%), while development and housing activities (9%), and at the level of fixed capital formation, the value of purchases of assets (4.37 billion riyals, with health recording the highest contribution of (1.4) billion riyals.
